Sometimes when I am busy in my studio, I am interrupted with phone calls, texts, outside noises and more. I sometimes have to retreat to a place where I can regroup and clear up the frustration from disruptions.

I go outside to my favorite chair and just breath. I take a few minutes to notice all around me.  I hear the annoying sounds but also the sweet sounds of nature. There is no phone, nothing to interrupt, just me and nature.  After a few minutes I am refreshed and can move on with my day.

Having a place to retreat when you need solitude is not only therapeutic but reviving. I can help sort out all the things that go wrong in our day. It also renews creativity.
