This is a great Topper Card that can be made to hold a gift card or just a fun graduation card. Any graduate would love to receive this fun card.

Here is what I used:

Liquid Glue  https://www.stampinup.com/products/glue-liquid-multipurpose?                                                   \\demoid=2242482

  •  To make
    1. Place the 8” x 4” piece of Basic White cardstock on your scoreboard or trimmer so that the 8” side is facing upward and score at 4”.
    2. Fold at the score mark to create a 4” x 4” card base.
    3. Use your bone folder to crisp the fold.
    4. Adhere the 3-3/4” x 3-3/4” piece of Rel Red cardstock to the front of the card leaving a equal margin of basic white.
    5. Adhere the  3-1/4” x 3-1/4” piece of Real Red cardstock to the 3-1/2” x 3-1/2” piece of Basic White Cardstock .
    6. Turn this square so that it resembles a diamond.
    7. Then with the card base laying down place the diamond shape at the top of the card base. You are going to adhere the diamond to the top of the card but you need to make sure the length of the diamond and the card base measure 5-1/2”.
    8. Once you have made sure the length is 5-1/2” using dimensional adhere the bottom part of the diamond that lays on the card base to the card base.
    9. With the white twine make a tassel. With liquid glue, adhere the tassel to the middle of the diamond/ The diamond should be starting to resemble the top part of a graduation cap.
    10. Glue the red button over the top of the tassel loop.
    11. Then you can decorate the front of the card. I used the stamp “Yay” from the simply Said stamp set/
    12. I used some number stickers to indicate the year the student graduates. You can use the number dies from Alphabet a la Mode if you like.
    13. I stamped “Celebrate” on the inside. I used Happy Little things stamp set.
    14. Of course decorate as you wish.
