I love using up scraps of Designer Series Paper or cardstock. Often this paper /cardstock is retired.  Instead of putting the paper in the recycle bin I try to se it up.

I also like to use up ribbon, embellishments and ephemera. After all, creating a card and sending it to someone that needs a paper hug makes more sense to me than tossing usable scraps.

I also like to use items in my stash. Because these cards usually use up items that may not be current, please realize that you can use current product and create your cards.

Here are some cards I created. I was going for a fall theme.

This card used up some DSP that I have had for a while. With the left over DSP I was able to make three cards.

In addition to the DSP I used a strip of DSP that the little truck was on. I also used some twine from my stash.

In making this card I used Cajun Craze, Early Expresso and Very Vanilla cardstock out of  the current catalog. Also, the inks I used are Mossy Meadow and Memento Black.

I used an old stamp set that had the small boughs to create the wreath. I used three punches that are retired to create the colorful leaves and the acorn. (I never part with punches.) As a suggestion: the Cottage Wreaths stamp set  would work nicely to create the wreath and is current.   https://www.stampinup.com/products/cottage-wreaths-photopolymer-stamp-set-english?demoid=2242482

This card was my favorite. I love the type and the dangling vine. It has a Parisian vibe. The stamp I used was from a stamp set (Very Versailles), which has retired but here re some great stamps and an embossing folder that can create the same feel. Any of the following stamp sets could be used.

The Timeworn embossing folder could be used for the type .https://www.stampinup.com/products/timeworn-type-3d-embossing-folder?demoid=2242482

I also used my leave punches to ade colorful leave to the vine . The Autumn Leaves dies could aso be used for the same effect.   https://www.stampinup.com/products/autumn-leaves-dies?demoid=2242482
