I hate to toss retired DSP or usable scraps in the recycle bin. I re-purpose them if I can.  Here is what I made today !

I used  an A2 size card base cut out of Balmy Blue card stock. I also cut the corners of a 6″x 6″ piece of DSP that came in the Dandy Designs DSP package. This DSP was available during the Sale a-bratiion campaign.  Of course the corner pieces were adhered to a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Basic White card stock.

I stamped the sentiment  “Sending” from the Sending Smiles stamp set  (#158701) in Balmy Blue ink. I also added the sentiment “Birthday Wishes” stamped in Memento ink. The balloons were from mmy stash of ephemera.

I used this card sketch from MOJOMONDAY #361 as inspiration for this next card.

i used Cajun Craze Card stock to make my card base. I used scraps from the DSP – Dandy Designs. (Again this DSP was offered in a previous Sale a-bration campaign.)

I used the Sending Smiles stamp set to stamp the word “Sending” in  Calypso Coral ink. Then I used the Sending dies to cut out a shadow for the word “sending”./ I also used the Sending Smiles stamps to stamp “a card to say hello” in memento on a scrap of Basic White card stock.

I used the Country Petal Punch  (#1600575) to punch out those nice flower petals. The punch is currently available in my online store.

I hope that you are imspired to use your scraps ans sttash to create cards so that you can share them  with someone. Don’t be shy about using card sketches to inspire your creations.
