To create  your card there are a few items you will need.

  • You will need stamps (your images). I used stamps from Splendid Thoughts #159677
  • Versamark Ink #102283
  • Your favorite Ink. I used Fresh Feesia #155611 and Soft Sea Foam #147102
  • a  card base. I uste a 11″ x 4-1/4″ piece of Soft Sea Foam card stock #146988. I placed the 11″ side of the Soft Sea Foam at the top of my paper trimmer #152392 and scored at 5-1/2″. Creating an A2 size card that will fit in a medium envelope.
  • White embossin powder #155554
  • Heat tool #129053
  • Then I used paper from the Splendid Thought DSP for my bottom layer on my card. (The foil is gorgeous) #159666. I also used Basic White card stock #159276 as a layer.
  • fluid 100 water color paper  #149612

On your water color paper stamp your desired imges. You will definetly need to stamp those images with the versamark ink.  The pour white embossing powerd on the stamped images. Tap off th extra embossing powder and use the heat tool (High settung)  to melyt the powder.

Ink up an acryilic block with ink. With a water painter create water color. Then water color over the embossed images. I water colored the top half in Fresh Freesia and bottom half in Soft Sea Foam. But you can choose different colors if you want. You could also water colors the images only.

I then embellished the card with emphemera cut with the splendid Day Dies. I also embossed my sentment on a strip of Calypso #122925.
