I had fun making this card. I am not big on Halloween as in, I don’t decorate for the day but making special bags and sending out cute cards is definitely fun.

So using the Cute Little Halloween Designer Paper I created this card.

  • I used a 51/2″ x 8 1/2″ base card. I scored at 4 1/4 and folded.
  • I cut a base layer out of the black and white candy DSP and adhered to card.
  • I then cut a 3 1/2″ x 4 3/4″ rectangle and adhered it to the DSP leaving a margin on all sides.
  • I cut out of the orange and black striped DSP a 41/2″ x 2 /2″ banner and adhered it in the middle  of the white rectangle already adhered to the card.
  • I used about 10″ of black and white butcher block ribbon. I folded the ribbon so it was wavy and used glue dots to hold it down.
  • Using the Label Me Fancy punch I punched two labels out of Highland Heather card stock. Then about in the middle of the card I adhered them.
  • Using the 1 3/8 “circle punch I punched three circles out of Basic White card stock.
  • Using the 1 1/2″ circle punch i punched three orange circle. On the orange circles I used leftover pumpkin face stickers from the Paper Pumpkin. The orange circles were adhered to the white circles then adhered vertically on the left side of the card.
  • The word “Hello” was stamped on a white strip of Basic white.
  • The word “Just” was stamped on another Basic White strip of card stock.
  • Finally “For You” was stamped on a third strip of Basic White card stock.
  • I stamped “Happy Halloween” on the inside of card.

I did not use dimensionals because there was already so much layering. I also decorated the outside flap of the envelope with the black and orange striped DSP.
