Yesterday, Stampin’ Up! shared some updates about cling stamps and Stampin’ Write Markers, as well as some exciting news about new coordinating packaging for stamps and dies.

Cling Stamps or often referred to as red rubber stamps

  • Stampin” Up has decided to discontinue the cling stamps due to the fact that the key raw materials are becoming difficult to source, or not available at all. Our photopolymer stamps will continue so as to support various artistic styles and techniques.
  • The cling stamps will be offered as long as our catalogs are current. So the cling stamps offered in the September – December Catalog will move to the last chance list at the end of December 2025. The cling stamps in the 2025-2026 Annual Catalog will move to the last chance list in the spring of 2026.

Stampin” Write Markers

  • Stampin” Up has decided to discontinue Stampin” Write Markers due to a decline in sales. One of the primary reasons the Stampin” Write Markers were sold is because many crafters used the markers to color the cling stamps. Since the cling stamps are not being produced the markers are irrelevant and will also be discontinued. However our Stamping Blends (alcohol markers) are very popular and offer great coloring techniques. These Stampin Blends will continue to be offered. The markers will be moved to the last chance list August 20, 2025.

Stamp & Die Packaging

  • Because the cling stamps are not being manufactured and because our photopolymer stamps are thin, Stampin’ Up will be offering new and thinner packaging. The packaging will be like the packages the dies come in now. Both the stamps and dies will show a print of what is inside. This new packaging will slowly take place in November.
